ESSA leads authorship on the very first State of Environment Report for British Columbia. This project involved more than 50 advisors, and necessitated the magic trick of condensing more than two bookshelves full of papers, reports and raw data into a non-technical publication just over 100 pages in length that could be easily understood by the public. This was a landmark document for state of environment reporting in Canada, and led to many subsequent projects in this field, in both North America and Asia.
