Virginia oversees financial and accounting operation of ESSA Technologies. She focuses on the preparing and presenting the financial statements to ESSA’s Management Team, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, overseeing the project accounting system, and implementing the operational best practices.
Virginia has over 23 years’ experience in accounting and financial management of small- to medium-size owner operated businesses. She began her career in public accounting where she gained experience in sale and income taxes, payroll and financial analyses. After she left public accounting, she worked in agriculture, manufacturing and service sectors as chief accountant and controller.
Virginia is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia. She also holds a B. Comm. in Accounting from Concordia University.
When not at work, Virginia likes cycling, cooking and spending time with her family. She also loves reading, especially history and literature.
