Marion Janssen is a Human Resources Consultant with over 20 years of human resources experience in a variety of industries. She completed her studies at Capilano University in Business Management and completed the Human Resources Diploma program at BCIT and is a Certified Human Resources Practitioner. Ms. Janssen specializes in several areas of strategic human resources planning and management for small to medium size organizations including: strategic recruitment; onboarding; policy development and process improvement; role mapping, career path planning and retention; training, development and performance management; employee relations; management coaching; and succession planning. Ms. Janssen’s specialty lies in working with teams to build their employment practices, policy documentation, recruitment, coaching, and employee relations practices. Marion believes deeply in working with organizations to understand and communicate who they are and why they are an employer of choice. As a consultant, she brings innovative solutions to small, entrepreneurial companies who recognize that great HR practices, applied early and consistently are key to both the attraction and retention of hard-to-find talent.

In her personal life, Marion is devoted to her dog Jose, two sons and recently retired husband. She loves to travel, ski, kayak, and walk around the Ladner seaside.
