Snowmelt Pranks

In the olden days before word processors our dedicated secretaries would type everything out. We were working very hard to finish a proposal on the effects of snowmelt on lake and stream acidification. Dave reading his bio-blurb “In fact, he’s probably the best f%#@*!* acidification scientist you could have for this project.” Dave yelled “Pete!!”and he calmly replied: “Ah, you found it…” We won that project, which involved a great workshop at the Lac Laflamme research site near Quebec City.
